MATI was founded in 2016 by Fatima K. Punjaabi, whose personal journey sparked the birth of the brand. After experiencing severe skin rashes from synthetic and poly-blended fabrics, she searched for clothing that was comfortable, sustainable, and made from pure natural materials — and realised how rare it was to find all three. MATI became her answer: a thoughtful extension of her own wardrobe needs, now shaping a community of women who choose natural fibres, sustainable fashion, and everyday clothing that truly breathes.
